Description

The Birm Iron Filter with Fleck 2510SXT AIO Digital Control Valve is a configurable iron and manganese reduction system that uses granular Birm media and natural oxidation without chemicals, aerators, or air compressors. The system includes a Fleck 2510SXT AIO digital control valve, 1″ stainless steel by-pass, 1.5 cu. ft. of Birm, one sleeve of gravel, funnel, and cap. Birm acts as an insoluble catalyst to enhance the reaction between dissolved oxygen and iron compounds, and periodic backwashing is required to clean the media.
