About This Product
This engineered polymer reducing tee is designed to create branch connections for PEX-a pipe in hot and cold potable water systems, residential fire sprinkler systems, hydronic distribution piping, and radiant heating or cooling systems. Each end of the tee is made for expansion-style connections to compatible PEX-a piping. It can be used with matching PEX-a pipe, engineered polymer fittings, lead-free brass valves, and wall support systems to create a lead-free plumbing setup from inlet to faucet without using torches, glues, solvents, gauges, or fire-watch steps. The expansion connection system also helps reduce dry-fit concerns for a more secure installation. An expansion tool and compatible expansion rings are required and sold separately.
